Opening Hours

The Nursery School opens at 9.15am Monday to Friday.
Morning sessions finish at 12.30pm.

Afternoon sessions at the Saint Barnabas Millennium Church Hall, Pitshanger Lane, starts at 12.30pm Monday to Friday and finishes at 3.30pm.

At St. Peters Church there are extended day facilities three times a week where children can stay for lunch.

Parents are advised not to bring children earlier than 9.15am in the mornings unless it is by arrangement, as staff will be setting up Nursery for the day's work.

  Records

Detailed records will be kept of each child to enable the curriculum to be adapted to his/her specific requirements.

Should you have any queries or concerns about your child, this will be discussed during parent/teacher meetings with a written report given at the end of each term.

Fees

All fees are due on or within two weeks of each term. No deduction of fees can be made for absence due to illness or holidays taken during the school term. For a full list of fees please contact the Principal.

Refreshments

Children help themselves to a variety of fruit and vegetable laid out at the snack table throughout the day. They can even make their own jam and butter sandwiches. This will encourage their independence at an early age. We do not offer juice, as we like to encourage children to drink milk.

Collection of Children

The Nursery must be informed if anyone other than a known person will be collecting your child. Children will NOT be released to an unknown person.

Discipline

All matters of unacceptable behaviour will be dealt with kindly but firmly, in keeping with the Montessori philosophy of developing self-discipline and self-esteem. Should the behaviour persist, we will discuss matters with the child's parents/guardians as appropriate. Positive behaviour will be consistently encouraged.

Policies

All the Nursery's policies are available on request.

Uniform

The uniform at New World Montessori is a simple sweatshirt and polo shirt bearing the Nursery's logo. These may be purchased directly from Juniper on Pitshanger Lane, Ealing.
